Larry Ray Minyard Jr.

Larry Ray Minyard Jr., aged 59, passed away on August 10, 2024, in Bakersfield, California. Born on August 3, 1965, in San Francisco, California, he was the beloved son of Donna and Larry Minyard. Larry spent his early years in Visalia, California, before settling in Bakersfield, where he lived a fulfilling life surrounded by family and friends.

Larry is survived by his son, Steven Minyard; daughter-in-law, Paislee Minyard; grandchildren, Braxton, Shane, Rayleigh, and Austin; and his Aunt Vicky and uncle Terry, along with numerous friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donna and Larry Minyard; cousins, Fred and Kimberly Davis; and uncles, Glen and Bob.

Professionally, Larry dedicated many years to his career as a commercial truck driver, a job that he performed with passion and diligence. Known for his love of the outdoors, Larry found joy in fishing, barbecuing, and 4-wheel driving his trucks. His presence brought light and laughter to all those around him, making every moment count.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date to honor Larry's life. Kern River Family Mortuary in Bakersfield, California, is assisting the family during this difficult time. Larry's memory will forever be cherished, and though he will be dearly missed, he will never be forgotten.
