Larry Parenteau Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 10 to Mar. 11, 2021.
It is with great sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and son on the 13th day of February 2021 at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg.
Larry was born in Thompson and spent all his life in this City. He, and his wife Amanda raised their three boys, Austin, Ethan, and Julian in Thompson as well. Larry worked for Wajax for 21 years until this job ended with the closure of the branch due to Covid 19. Larry was a quiet man who loved the outdoors. His favourite pastimes were camping and socializing with friends around a campfire, quadding, skidooing and fishing with friends and family, and hunting with his father, Solomon, brother, Mark, cousin, Marcel and various other friends. He was said to be a very good shot. Larry was also an avid, self-taught mechanic, and along with brother, Mark, enjoyed fixing skidoos and quads for friends. But Larry's favourite pastime was being at home with his beloved wife, Amanda, and his sons, sharing their favourite TV shows and movies, or entertaining family and friends.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Amanda, Loving Sons, Austin, Ethan and Julian, Father and Mother Solomon and Carole, Brother, Mark, Sisters Donelda (Jesse) and Diana, Father-in-law and Mother-in-law, Kelly and Valerie, Brother-in-laws, Ryan and Christopher, and Sister-in-law, Kelly Lynn (Blake) nephews, Justin, Damian, Cory, Deegan and nieces, Havanna, Aurora, Cassidy, Riley, Nova, Emma, Michaela and Hannah.
Larry was predeceased by Grandparents Bob and Donna Baker and Lawrence and Nora Parenteau.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
