Larry my dear brother-in-law you would be truly missed, though I don’t understand why you left so soon, I do know that God don’t make mistakes and he felt it was time to call you home. You have truly left an everlasting impression on everyone you met, if I had to guess you’re looking down with that smile and saying “EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT!” My brother-in law safe trucking until our roads meet again…

Baby Boy,
There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of you. I still see your smiling face and your words "It is what it is", but I am comfort in knowing that one day we will see you again. Being the eldest its hard to let go of you! I am thankful for the time that God has given you to us, and I am thankful that my last words to you were I love you. I am still not ready to say Goodbye, but "it is what it is". I love you so much but God loves you more. To the rest of my siblings don't forget to let your last words be I LOVE YOU! Love, Linda

To my brother Larry, it is hard to think that you are not here with us anymore never to see you laugh or smile, you have left us only with good memories of your loud music playing, always you and cookie trying to get to the pot first, I remeber we were in the back yard and we were trying to see who bass was the loudest, and of course your bass won, I miss you so much, we never really get to say I love you as much as we should but I Love you and buddy with all my heart, and I know i'll see you again. This is not goodbye but see you later love MaryAnn

Words cannot express, just how much you were "Loved". We miss you terribly. It seem unreal that you are really gone. But I know you are resting peacefully now. The ending journey to life is death, and out of death the spirit is released and it lingers "For ever and ever. You will always be with us, and I want to tell you again, I love you.

It still hits me that you're gone because it was just the other day that I saw you before leaving for Alaska, Unc. But I truly know that you are in a better place right now. Like my younger brother said, you were always the Uncle that we could visit and play games with. Grand Turismo was your favorite. It's crazy how I'll always remember that, even from the age of 9. But like stated throughout this entire guestbook, you will truly be missed Unc. From your exuberant personality to your joyous smile. You will forever live on through FAMILY.
Forever Love, Your Nephew Da'Rell

Hey Daddy, its your oldest daughter here :) and I Just wanted to share a word or two with you and say that I miss more than you ever. I wear your watch practically everyday... :) not only because its a part of you but because its a symbol. It reminds me of the time, not only "literally".... but the time that has passed...and more importantly the time we shared...I know we weren't as close as we should have been but your still and will always remain apart of my world, my life and apart of me. But i do thank you though. You left me with a wonderful family, you left with ALOT of love, and you left me with your smile, I see you everyday I look in the mirror...and that like time will last more than just a little a while.

To my Uncle Larry, I will miss you more than words can say. I can’t believe that you are gone. However, I have to believe in my heart that I will see you again one day. My heart is truly broken, but as the days go by I find comfort in remembering the bond that we shared. I thank God for blessing me with an uncle like you. You have supported me, encouraged me, made me laugh, and shown me love time and time again. You will always live in my heart, and I will always love you.
Your niece, Glenda.

{Dear God, please continue to comfort my family and please grant my grandparents with a peace that surpasses all understanding. Amen}

To my Uncle Larry, words can never express the love that our family feels for you. Your beautiful smile a mere reflection of the sun brightens the heart of everyone you've ever touch. Even thought your body is no longer here your memory will forever rest in our heart and soul. I love you.

April 6, 2011

I am deeply sadden that my brother is gone, but I know that God is in control. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Larry I will miss you dearly. You brought so much joy to all our lives, and touched so many with simply "your smile" . I Love you, and I am going to miss seeing you, but your spirit will live on, and in me all the days of my life. To my sister in law Beverly, although your life together was shorten, I pray the Lord will give you strength to carry on, you will be in my thoughts and prayers. When the crowds are gone, and a moment of silence fall upon you, Remember God has it all in control, and give him Honor, Glory, and Praise and he will send his comforter to you, to ease your pain. God Bless, Letha Zimmerman-Rouse (Micki)

To my sister Beverly, I know that you have a bleeding heart now but God heals all wounds. He will put a bandage on your soul and keep love in your heart. You'll be able to sit back one day and say "Thank you God for the short time you allowed me to have your child for he was my husband, friend, and confidant".
To Mr. & Mrs. Zimmerman, thank you for giving me the opportunity to meet the wonderful son God gave you. Larry had a welcoming smile. I can remember the last day that I saw him, he towered over everyone and as I looked back at him he was still smiling and laughing in the crowd. He will be truly missed by my family and I but even more by my sister Beverly.

To: Mr. & Mrs. Ernest Zimmerman, Ernest ,Teresa, Karen and Family
From: Toni Pettigrew and the King Family

This is indeed a sad day. We do not always understand the reasons why things happen. We just have to trust God and remember that He still has us in the palm of His hand and that He is yet in control.

I pray that God gives you all who are affected by Larry's sudden passing strength and healing at this time.

God Bless you all,
Toni Pettigrew
