Latianna Gracie Unique King-Reeves

Latianna Gracie Unique King-Reeves was born on July 15, 2004, in Gary, Indiana. She sadly departed this life on June 25, 2025, at the age of 20, in Gary, IN. Latianna, affectionately known as "Lala," was born to the proud parents of Vernon Lamont Reeves Sr. and Lutisha Faye King. She was the third of four siblings. Lala accepted Christ as her Lord and Saviour at an early age. She was a former member of Love Thy Neighbor Ministries Church Inc., under the leadership of Pastor Bryant D. Mckenzie. Lala graduated from West Side High School

in Gary, In. in 2022. Following graduation, she worked as a caregiver for her aunt, Demetrice Reeves, and held a position at Big Daddy's BBQ, Walmart, McDonald's, and warehouses. Lala was a vibrant, outgoing, young woman, admired for her radiant smile, which she carried with her wherever she went. Her poise and etiquette were truly exceptional. Her sense of humor lit up the room with her playful behavior and hearty laughter. Lala loved family. She loved attending family gatherings, and always lending a helping hand when needed. She loved dancing, singing karaoke, doing tik toks, drawing, painting, talking on the phone, and delighted in preparing meals she found on social media. Her preferred

household chore was doing the dishes. In conjunction with these interests, she also maintained a deep love for God. Her favorite gospel song she would sing during karaoke was "Take Me To The King" by Tamela Mann. LaLa volunteered in multiple community settings, assisting the homeless, participating in church functions, helped coordinate and serve, at holiday events for children. Lala will be eternally remembered and fondly referred to as "Pretty Girl," a nickname given to her by her late mother, and "Daddy's baby," a term of endearment from her father. Her spirit will live on and her memory will never be forgotten. Latianna is preceded in death by her mom, Lutisha Faye King, brother, Kerry King, Grandmothers: Gracie Allen and Marion Phillips, Grandfathers: George Reeves Jr., and Otis King, uncle, Dante Reeves.
