Words cannot express how sad I am that Laura Lee is no longer with us on Earth. However, I know she will always be in our hearts and will be smiling down on all of us.

I am so grateful to have known Laura Lee for almost 30 years. We had so many wonderful and fun times together in Acapulco (where we first met), Chicago (going out dancing with friends, BBQ Parties every August in which Laura Rose and Joey attended a few times) and New York (spending time together when she was here on business).

She was and IS one in a million.

My deepest sympathy goes out to her family.

For her children:
I want you to know that she loved you unconditionally and everything she did in her life was because of you.

I spent some time with your Mom at your house on April 10. She wanted me to let you know that in the near future she hopes that you and either your Aunt Angela or your Dad can make it out to New York. She asked that we all go out to dinner at one of her favorite restaurants. In addition, she asked me to show you how much fun New York can be. Your Mom and I would get together in New York City when she was here on business. I hope that we stay in touch so that we can make plans to spend some time in New York in honor of your loving, spectacular and wonderful Mother.

Always remember that your Mom will be with YOU so that you can share all of your future plans with her (graduation, prom, college, marriage, etc). She will be with you every step of the way and will be your guiding light.

Heaven just became a little bit sweeter because of your Mother.

My love goes out to you and the rest of your family.

I am going to miss your Mom terribly but I am so grateful for all of the beautiful memories which will keep me smiling every time I think of her.

Love always your friend,

Richard Cocco

The days ahead will never be the same without her. My mind is at peace now that we don't have to watch her suffer anymore. I know that she will be watching over us and protecting us just the same as when she was down here with us. I am so thankful for all of the wonderful things that she did for me in her brief time on this earth. The love that she gave me I will never take for granted. She always treated me like I was her own. Thinking about it more and more I was her oldest son and that was the only way she wanted to love me. I will love you forever Lappa Leapa until we reunite again as one big happy family!

Laura was a kind, wonderful person. She was always willing to help. It was a great relief for my husband and I when she volunteered to drive our daughter Jessica to CCD every Wednesday.I saw her at St. Catherine Church a few weeks ago and she was a picture of calm and hope. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers always.

Laura was such a wonderful, happy person. I know she loved to watch and cheer on Laura (Platy) at the softball games. Although we only knew her for a brief period, we feel blessed with that experience. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. May your faith in God comfort you through this difficult time.
