Laura E. Mattiello, 97, of Marion, passed away at 10:50 am on Monday, May 3, 2021, at her residence. She was born on Thursday, May 10, 1923, to Vaughn Grant and Anna Moon. She was married to Patrick A. Mattiello, who preceded her in death.
Laura was a retail attendant with Hills Department Store. She enjoyed working in her yard but especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Laura is survived by her daughter, Patricia Purvis of Marion; grandchildren, Patrick Purvis and Virgil (Kara Croucher) Purvis; great-grandchildren, Austin, Gavin, Virgil, Karli, and Izabella; and a brother, Roger Moon of Texas.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Stephanie Purvis Walker.
At Laura's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Burial will take place at Gardens of Memory, Marion, IN.
Arrangements are entrusted to Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
