Laura was such a special friend at the C&PO's mess. Funny, appreciative, honest, independent, passionate, friend are just a few words to describe Laura. She was great example to every woman ... to everyone who ever met her.

Laura was a dear family friend, and we will all miss her very much. If it weren't for Laura's matchmaking skills, our parents wouldn't have met. Our heartfelt condolences, and relief that her departure was a peaceful one.

It was such a pleasure to have known Laura. I hope now she is at peace. She was a great person and it was a priviledge to have had our life path's cross. My condolences to the Theilman family and to Barb.

I was honored and privileged to have been one of Laura's friends for 61 years.
I admired her for, and remember her for, the enthusiasm and enjoyment she found in all parts of her life and the devotion shown to her family and friends
My heart goes out to her family

Although I hadn't seen Laura in recent years, I do remember with fondness the interesting and encouraging conversations we would have when I worked for the WDM (both back in the mid 70s and again in the late 80s. My caring thoughts go out to her family.
