I'll never forget my days at Dravo with Miss Troiani. It wasn't just work it was FAMILY. She never missed my birthday, by card or telephone. Even when I moved to NY. Now she's gone to the big Steeler party in the sky. My deepest sympathy to her family. I will miss her dearly.

I met Laura right out of high school working for Davy. She taught me everything I knew. She did it so well, some called me LL (Little Laura). She is a great lady. God be with her and her family.

Laura was a big part of my learning process at Dravo and Davy. She had a way of hitting you over the head so that you gained skills and friendship through her subtle kindness.

Working with Laura made every day special at Dravo Corporation. What a happy woman she was to everyone. She will be missed by all. God, I know will bless her.

I will miss sitting sometimes with cousin Laura at the small table in her kitchen. She was always excited to tell me the story of my father coming to study from Venezuela and arriving for the first time in the US at her family's home. I know that she went out of her way to make him feel welcome. When my sister Laura and I moved from Venezuela to the US many years later, as young girls, cousin Laura made sure that we felt welcome, too, by inviting us over for something special to eat and sharing her adventures growing up.

As I reflect, from time to time, on different stages in my life I find a special 'time place' with three names attached to it while I was in Pittsburgh: Assunta, Victor and Laura.
May them all have reunited someplace timeless on the ocassion of Laura's passing.
To the rest of the family I am sharing the sorrow of these sad times.

What fun we all had together in Bedlam Choir! Laura and I were proficient with the software MultiMate. I can still see Laura blowing bubbles at our wedding reception five years ago. And she was such a whiz at the card game of "99." We all just loved her and we have such happy memories. May she rest now in peace.
