Thousand Oaks - Laura Elizabeth Webb (
Thousand Oaks, CA.) passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, leaving a gaping hole in many hearts. Laura spent her last several days doing the things she loved - serving regulars at Lake Club, vacationing with her family in Michigan, dancing with her husband at a country concert, and celebrating her nephew's birthday.
Laura, affectionately known as Lolo, was born and raised in Ventura County, and a self-proclaimed hometown girl. She was the youngest daughter of the Hackbarth four children and the youngest cousin on both sides for a decade. She was the baby of the family.
Lolo grew up camping at Refugio Beach and Yosemite, igniting her love of the outdoors, hiking, and the beach. As a child, she spent hours sifting through her Barbie closet, enjoying family time being carted around in a carrier or on the back of a bike, and singing along to Lion King on repeat. She loved her binky, chocolate milk, and her dogs.
As a teen, Laura enjoyed bopping around town with what would become her lifelong best friends. She equally loved locking herself in a room with a good book as she did spending too much time on Tarantula Hill. She loved Harry Potter, Garth Brooks, and her boys.
Laura was the Queen of any costume party, spent too much time binge-watching Dexter, and would drive hours for a Dierks Bentley concert. Laura was always wearing a sherpa jacket, a turquoise ring, a perfect hat and short bootie. She enjoyed a lively game night, doing crafts with her nieces and nephews, and walks to Ramen with her husband. An old soul, she loved cooking, reading and sipping on hot tea.
Laura had a contagious laugh, a signature dance style, and a heart of gold. She loved deep, always greeting with 'Hi Friend' and closing with an 'I Love You'. And while she loved you dearly, she loved your dog even more.
Laura's love of people took her to a profession in restaurant service. She was the consistent, welcoming smile at Bandits Bar & Grill for 15 years and was most recently working at Lake Club at Sherwood. She went out of her way to provide quality service, while also offering a listening, kind friend to her customers.
Laura married the love of her life two short years ago surrounded by family and friends in a beautiful ceremony at her parent's home. Their desire to build a family and life together will forever be dreams cut short.
Laura is survived by her loving husband, Patrick Webb, her parents Gary and Kathy Hackbarth, her siblings, Nicole Candle, John Hackbarth, and Callie Hackbarth, her nephews and nieces, and her best boy - Gus.
A celebration of Laura's life will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Samuelson Chapel (60 W. Olsen Rd., Thousand Oaks, CA.) at 2pm. Attendees are asked to wear white in honor of our bright and beautiful girl.
In lieu of flowers, please stop to pet and love on the dog that you pass, consider a donation to assist animals in your area, and buy your kid the darn puppy.
