Lauren BOSS Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Nov. 7 to Nov. 9, 2022.
Lauren Ryan Boss

Lauren Ryan Boss passed away suddenly on October 25th, 2022 at the age of 21. Lauren was born on September 17th, 2001 in Cocoa Beach, Florida to Kim Boss (Ryan), and Paul Boss. Lauren graduated from Merritt Island High School in 2019. Lauren went on to continue her education at Southeastern University. Graduating early at age 19, with her Bachelors in Practical Ministries.

Lauren is survived by her Mother, Kim Boss and her two older brothers, Paulie Boss and Kyle Boss. Along with countless other family members and friends whom Lauren loved with all her heart. Lauren is predeceased by her Grandparents, Matthew T. Ryan Jr. and Dolores Ryan (McGlone).

Lauren carried a unique enthusiasm for life, that radiated onto others everywhere she went.

Lauren's smile, humor, and kindness could brighten anyone's day. Lauren was a light in a dark world for many. This enthusiasm stemmed from her love of Christ. Lauren fully dedicated her life to Jesus in 2018 and never looked back. Through guidance from her older brother Kyle, Lauren was heavily involved in the youth group at Georgianna United Methodist Church in Merritt Island, FL. Upon graduation from college, she accepted a position on the creative team at Saints Church in Queens, NY. In her past two years there, anyone close to her will recall how much growth she had, and how much love she spread far and wide in the name of Jesus Christ.

Lauren lived an incredibly accomplished life in a very short time period. Her life was so accomplished because Lauren gave generously and poured her heart into everything she did. Her creative passion was embodied in everything she did, including teaching free photography classes, joining improv groups, photography clubs, etc. While Lauren loved all these things, none of them could compare to her love for her work advancing the kingdom of God.

We would like to thank Georgianna United Methodist Church in Merritt Island, FL, The Well Ministry in Merritt Island, FL, and Saints Church in Queens, NY. These churches were near and dear to Lauren, bringing her to and through her walk of faith.

Services will be held at 10:30am, Saturday November 19, 2022, at Georgianna Methodist Church, Merritt Island FL

In lieu of flowers, our wish is to continue Laurens work by blessing the church and the communities they serve. Please consider donating to:

I will never forget how much Lauren made everyone feel like they mattered. From kids to adults. Lauren´s heart was full of the Lord. There wasn´t a soul that she came across and did not plant a seed.

I had just met Lauren for the first time at a worship event on October 22. She was beautiful inside and out and was clearly passionate about serving God´s Kingdom through her gifting. My heart broke to learn of the news just a few days later. I pray for comfort, strength, and a peace that surpasses all understanding for everyone who knew and loved her!

Lauren Boss was a truly amazing friend to have. She blew me away with tough questions and deep conversations. She had people laughing and smiling around her constantly because it was hard not to when you´re with her. I hope everyone she impacted during her short time here is strongly motivated to live out the lessons Lauren taught them. I will never forget Lauren Boss and I hope I always often sit back and think of all the memories I got to share with her. She already is and forever will be greatly deeply missed.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Please take comfort in the words found at 2nd Thessalonians 2:16,17.

Lauren was such a beautiful and special young lady.. she did more in her 21 years than many do in a lifetime. While my heart aches for her Mom and brothers, I know she will never leave them and she will be right above to guide them through this difficult time
