I just received the news about Lauren through Amy Wissler. I'm sorry I didn't know earlier. I just wanted to extend my deepest sympathy for your family. I met your daughter just once and she seemed so bright and beautiful, like her parents.

We just received the horrible news about Lauren's accident. We are shocked beyond words. My memories of Lauren are of a very sweet girl, age 7 or 8 when we left Waco. She was always a pleasure to have in class.

I came across the "In Loving Memory of Lauren Hoffman" facebook profile and I couldn't help but look up what had happened. I never got the privilege of knowing Lauren because I live in Belton. But I know what it's like to lose someone very special. She was a beautiful girl. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and her friends.

My sympathy to the Hoffman family. I did not know Lauren. I did know her grandfather, Harry Hoffman. As purchasing agent for the VA Hospital in Marlin, I placed produce orders with Hoffman Banana Co. each week. Harry was always so helpful. I was privileged to have known him. God Be With You.

Lauren was one of my very good friends when she lived in Waco and it hurts deeply to hear that she's gone. I will always remember her laugh and how happy of a person she was. Lauren was a very good friend of mine when she lived in waco we went to the same school. The 3 years i got to know her were easily the best years of my life because of the friends i was surrounded by which included Lauren. The reality has still not sunken in yet. I will always remember her laugh, how much she loved UT, and how big of a Beatles fan she was . Lauren,I just can't believe it! I would of never thought this tragedy would ever happen to you. I knew Lauren from Elementary,Middle,and High School. We were good friends,through out our school years.. I remember the last time seeing her was at Waco High,in the Hallway,chattin with some friends,after I just talk to her for a few seconds,I didnt expect that to be the last time I speak to her.
