Lauren A. O'Brien

Ms. Lauren A. O'Brien, of Cambridge, formerly of Waltham, died Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge. She was 65 years old. Lauren was born at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton on August 8, 1956, a daughter of Marie (Aucoin) O'Brien and the late Joseph O'Brien. Raised in Waltham, she was a graduate of Waltham High School. She loved the time she spent traveling on many vacations to Florida, and up to Maine with her mother, Marie. She also cherished the time she spent with her beloved companion, Mark. She also loved music, some of her favorite artists were The Shaw Brothers, John Denver and Nana Mouskouri. In addition to her mother Marie, she leaves her siblings Janice M. Campbell of Kettering Ohio, Joseph R. O'Brien and his wife Catie, of Westwood, Robert W. O'Brien and his wife Theresa, of Mashpee and Naples, Florida, John T. O'Brien and his wife Catherine, of Waltham, Barbara J. O'Brien and her husband Frank Bridges, of Northport Maine, and William A. O'Brien of New York City and many nieces, nephews, and their families. Lauren was predeceased by her father Joseph O'Brien, her brother-in-law Elmer Campbell, and her dear friend Mark. Funeral services for Lauren will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Perkins School for the Blind.
