Laurent DEMERS Obituary
Peacefully, on Monday, July 9th, 2012, at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Sandra (née Ness). Cherished father of Steven (Christine) and Mark (Michelle). Loving and devoted Grampa of Gillian, Matthew and Rex. He will be fondly remembered by the Ness family and his friends. Family and friends may pay their respects at CAPITAL MEMORIAL CHAPEL (3700 Prince of Wales Dr., 613-692-1211) on Monday, July 16th, after 11 a.m. A Memorial Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel at 2 p.m. In memoriam, donations to CHEO are appreciated by the family. Larry had a smile that could light up a room, a heart with room to welcome everyone, a great sense of humour and a larger-than-life personality. My sincerest condolences to his family. He is missed very much.

Mark, Steve and Demers family - I had the priviledge of meeting Larry on a number of occasions during social gatherings at Mark's home. Larry was the kind of person that instantly made you feel at ease. Speaking to him for the first time seemed no different than if I had known him for years. He was a great guy.
