She was my dads stepsister. When I was in 3rd grade, maybe 1975 she came to stay with us while we were living in South Carolina. She was bouncing around then, a free spirit. I'm glad that she settled down and had a great family. She will be missed much.

I'm so sorry for the loss of Laurie. We met at Chaves and I had fun working with her. After retiring from Chaves we would get together often and I enjoyed her company. She loved her Kitty Harold and her bird named Crackers. I remember her beloved collection of lighthouses and dishes. I haven't seen her since she moved to Miss. But we tried to keep in touch with phone calls. She was my friend and I will miss her very much

Mom I miss you so much, this is so hard. Please look after me and John during this very difficult time. We really could use a big hug and some homemade cooking from you right about now. I miss our talks so much. Keep an ear out for me because I still talk to you every night. I miss you, my angel
