Generous soul. I am so at a loss for words.

Laurie to you "Matt" to me was a beautiful person and lifelong friend like no other. I feel so blessed to have loved and been loved by her. And though distance may have separated us through the years, "we" remain. I am so very sad and will miss her deeply.

POEM FOR A FRIEND -by Laurie Matelan
Because you shared your smile with me.
You've made the days worthwhile for me.
So nice to talk to you.
Make me smile when so few do.
And you'll always be my friend.
Cause my friendship for you could never end.
And I can't say thanks enough.
To a friend I love so much.
