Lavelle Fuller Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 10, 2011.
LaVelle Elaine Fuller of Centralia, WA, passed away March 3, 2011. Born February 18, 1924 in Chehalis, WA to Alma and Myron Root, she was a lifelong resident of the Lewis County area. Known to many as a dedicated businesswoman, she was employed by Fuller Market Basket until her retirement in the early 1980's. In addition, she owned and operated the Soft Touch Carwash in Centralia until she sold the business in 2002. Mom was deeply devoted to her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and sister. She is survived by her sister Carol Root of Bremerton, WA., brother Wallace Root of Centralia, WA, her children Doug (Barbara) Stidham of Chehalis, WA, Debra Britton of Centralia, WA, Lisa (Randy) Hook of Olympia, WA, and Lori (Eric) Sparling of Centralia, WA, grandchildren Jason (Amanda) Stidham of Rochester, WA, Ang Stidham of Chehalis, WA, Chris Stidham of Chehalis, WA, Andrew Hook of Olympia, WA, Bryan Hook of Olympia, WA, Erik Hess and Emily Hess both of Centralia, WA, Rick Hughes of Chehalis, WA, Kathy Hughes-Howard of Lacey, WA, Steve Hughes of Rochester, WA, and numerous great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her daughter Donna Hughes, brother Cliff Root, sister Betty Hendry, first husband Roy Stidham and late husband Edward Fuller.
LaVelle's family would like to thank her extended family at Colonial Residence for their dedication as well as Dr. Loren Cooper. They provided mom with loving care and dignity. Our words cannot express the gratitude we feel in our hearts.
We thank you Mom, for your guidance and wonderful sense of humor. You had a strong and capable spirit and provided us with endless devotion.
At our mother's request, there will be no services.
