Lavern Ripplinger Obituary
Lavern was a hardworking man who spent his career as a truck driver and also built pole buildings. He had a passion for creating things from scratch and took great pride in his craftsmanship. In his free time, he enjoyed motorcycle rides, camping, fishing, gardening, spending time with friends and most of all, spending time with his granddaughters.
He is survived by his wife, Julie Smith Ripplinger; his daughter-in-law, Melissa; and his beloved granddaughters, Sloane, Trista, Haiden, Devia, Gena, and Amelia. He is also survived by his brothers, Melvin and Marvin Ripplinger; and his sister, Judy Mardan.
Lavern was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley and Mary Ripplinger; his brother, Gary Ripplinger; and his son, Tyson Ripplinger.
A memorial service will be held in the summer to honor Lavern's life.
His family finds comfort in knowing he is now reunited with those he missed so dearly. He will be remembered for the twinkle in his eyes and the warmth of his smile. Rest in peace, Vern-you will always be loved and never forgotten.
