Brown, Lavina Arlene age 87, of Caledonia, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 19, 2022. She was preceded in death by parents, Leroy and Violet Miller; sister, Shirley VanDam; brothers, Leroy Miller and Robert Miller. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Matt; children: Janet Brown-Howard, Patricia and Dennis Wehler, Matthew III and Shannon Brown; grandchildren: Shane and Allyson Howard, Lindsay Howard, Dennis Wehler, Anna Wehler, Evan Wehler, Loren Brown, Matthew Brown IV, Aidan Brown; great grandchildren: Adelaide Howard and Jameson Howard; sister, Bonnie Moore; several nieces and nephews. Lavina was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved music and played the piano and upright bass. Lavina also enjoyed gardening, ceramics, feeding her birds, and was a big advocate for Right to Life. She worked for Lear Siegler and also for the Caledonia Public Schools. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9669 Kraft SE, Caledonia, with Rev. Michael R. Cilibraise presiding. Burial at Rest Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday from 10-11 am at church prior to the service. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Right to Life of Michigan or to Spectrum Health Hospice. Condolences may be sent online at www.mkdfuneralhome.com.

Lee was a beautiful, fun human being who loved her Lord & family so much. Her smile was beautiful & it would make your day. She will be missed. Prayers & hugs Matt, kids & grandchildren
