Lavon C. Blackwell

LaVon C. Blackwell WILLARD - LaVon C. Blackwell, passed away at her home of a lingering illness on June 2, 2005. She was born April 18, 1928 a daughter of Ray and Priscilla Chidester. LaVon married Murray A. Blackwell August 25, 1962. He passed away February 7, 1999. LaVon's career was with the IRS where she retired in January 1962 after 30 years of service. She was a member of the LDS Church. LaVon enjoyed visiting with her family, gardening and crocheting. She loved crocheting different things for her family and friends. LaVon is survived by three sons; Ellis (Brenda) Blackwell, Ogden, UT; Cole (Rebkah) Blackwell, Omaha, NE; Ray Blackwell, Willard, UT; seven grandchildren; Rhiannon, Aundria, Megan, Caleb, Brett, Misty, Grant and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many extended relatives and friends. LaVon is preceded in death by her parents, and husband, all her brother and sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 6, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Myers M ortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. Friends may call on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 12:00 to 12:45 p.m. at the Mortuary.
