D'ACQUISTO, LAWRENCE JOHN "UNCLE LARRY" 84 - of Little Egg Harbor passed away on Saturday October 1, 2011 at Seacrest Nursing Home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he lived in Long Island City, NY before moving to Little Egg Harbor in 1993. He was active in the Knights of Columbus and attended St. Theresa's Church, Little Egg Harbor. Larry's home away from home was Beverly's Luncheonette in Mystic Island where he enjoyed eating and spending time with his many friends. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Pauline in 1989 and his son Larry in 1995. He is survived by his niece Ann Marie Montanez and husband Richie and great nephews Richard and Paul Montanez. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 8, 2011 at 11:00am at St. Theresa's Church, Little Egg Harbor. Interment will be private. To send condolences please go to www.maxwellfuneralhome.com. Larry loved children and animals; In lieu of flowers please make donations in his memory to the St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942 or any animal rescue.
