DALZELL LAWRENCE S.
Age 90, of South Park, died on Thursday, January 29, 2009. beloved husband of Leona "Lee" Dalzell for 67 years; loving father of Carol and husband Ron Creager, Nancy Meder and her late husband Joseph, and son Larry Dalzell, Jr. and his late wife Gayl; loving grandfather of 9 and 12 great-grandchildren; brother of Raymond Dalzell of Uniontown. Lawrence was a Veteran of World War II, a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, and Past Grand Master of Masonic Lodge 714. Visitation will be on Monday from 1-4 pm & 6-8 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Service of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 3, at 10:30 am at the Jefferson Hills Methodist Church, Gill Hall Rd., Jefferson Hills. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, John G. Rangos Sr. Research Center, 3705 Fifth Ave., Pgh., PA 15213. I'm an old neighbor from 761 Rivermont Dr. Norabelle Schuetz.(Yates).
I have so many fond memories of Larry and Leona and the girls. I remember he bought a TV before he went to war so Leona could have some entertainment. Larry was a baby when he left. He also tried to help me get a job when he came home. My deepest sympathy to you all. I have many fond memories of you all next door. Larry was so thoughful. Bo Yates (Schuetz)
