LAWRENCE EDWARD " LARRY " GILLEY, AGE 77 Cox Funeral Homes Bastrop, Louisiana BASTROP, LOUISIANA- Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence Edward "Larry" Gilley will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Homes with Daniel Ramsey officiating. Interment will follow in the Mer Rouge Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Mr. Gilley was born November 26, 1933 in Mangham, Louisiana and he passed away April 10, 2011 at the West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Mr. Gilley is preceded in death by his wife Frances Annette Cook Gilley; his father, Nuggen Aubrey " Mitch " Gilley; his mother, Eliza Jane " Jannie" Weathers Gilley, and two brothers, Roy Rogers Gilley and Palmer Glenn Gilley. Mr. Gilley is survived by his daughter, Frances Ann Copeland and her husband Dewayne Copeland, of Oak Grove, Louisiana; a granddaughter, Christina Renee Reppond of Oak Grove, Louisiana; four sisters, Dorothea " Dot " Washington, of Monroe, Louisiana, Jo McCollough and husband, Everett McCollough of Hamburg, Arkansas; a sister, Marie McCoach and her husband, Dan McCoach of Hubbardsville, New York; a sister, Martha J. Gilley, of Bastrop, Louisiana; two brothers, Carlos Eugene Gilley, of Bastrop, Louisiana, and Keith Gilley and his wife, Caroleen Gilley, of Simboro, Louisiana; four sisters-in-law, Edna Slack, of Monroe, Louisiana, Christy Johnston, of Rayville, Louisiana ; Becky Jones, of Forest, Louisiana; Jean Gilley, of Madison, AL ;a brother-in-law, Charles Cook, of Bonita, Louisiana and a host of nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers are Rick Washington, Keith D. Gilley, Robert J. Gilley, Charles Cook, Roger Taylor, and Joe Allen Gilley. Honorary pallbearers are Eugene Gilley and Keith A. Gilley. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 13, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 A.M. and 4:00 p.m. Thursday , April 14, 2011 at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
