Lawrence GLAZER Obituary
In his eighty-first year, surrounded by his loving family, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Beloved husband and best friend of Doreen Smith for fifty-two years. Devoted father and father-in-law of David (Robyn Bennett), Steven and Alyssa Glazer. Cherished Zaidy of Brandon and Lauren Glazer; Jordan, Jill, Ryan and Danielle Glazer. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Devora and the late Morty Greenspon, Rabbi Henry and Rose Glazer, and brother-in-law of Leslie and Faye Smith. Loving uncle to his many nieces and nephews. Lawrence will be fondly remembered by his family, friends and colleagues at the Lord Reading Law Society. Special thanks to Drs. Jonathan Afilalo and Hans Knecht for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, January 13 at 1:45 p.m. Burial at the Beth Zion Congregation Section, Eternal Gardens Cemetery, Beaconsfield. My most sincere condolences to the Glazer family on your loss. Mtre Glazer injected manners and uncommon good humour into the practice of law in Montreal, and it was therefore a pleasure to article with him in the early 80s. Always taking the high road, very clever, he loved his family, he couldn't help bragging about his sons, he could make judges and detectives laugh with his interjections, albeit occasionally from the very back of the courtroom. Mtre Glazer was a gentleman, he was very well liked, and he will be missed.

Dear Doreen and family,
I want to convey my deepest condolences for your loss. Everyone who knew Larry, loved him. He will be missed by all including Barry and myself. We were unable to be at the funeral and shiva house since we both have the flu.
My heart aches for you. He was one of the nicest people I knew. I will truly miss him. May he rest in peace.
