James EASTON Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Jim Easton announces his passing, with loved ones by his side, on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the age of 73 years.
Jim will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Maggie; son, Lester; daughter, Tamara and her husband Dallas Matson; his beloved grandchildren, Anja, Kate and Maia; his brother, Neil; and mother-in-law, Maggie Smit. He was predeceased by his parents, Lester and Nora; brother, Alan; aunt Joyce Sucee, and his uncle Norman Easton.
A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at Hainstock's Funeral Home, 9810-34 Avenue, Edmonton.
The family would like to thank the nursing staff at the U of A Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Jim may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation or the U of A Hospital Foundation.

After working with Jim for several years and sharing emails and stories with him even longer, I will miss his incredible humour and his unique perspective on the world -- one that reminded me always to dig a little deeper and look behind the "spin". Wishing you peace and lots of laughs, Jim. And to Maggie and the family, may your memories make you smile.
