Lawrence Larry Holt

Lawrence Lee Holt October 16, 1943---August 2, 2017 Lawrence “Larry” Lee Holt passed away in Albany on August 2nd. Born in Redmond, Oregon to Floyd and Mary Katherine Holt. He was raised on a potato farm where he worked the land, milked cows and collected chicken eggs. After finishing high school he served in the National Guard for two years. From there he attended Central Oregon Community College and graduated with honors in math. This lead him to a long career working with numbers. Larry worked at Benton County Assessor’s office and after retirement worked as a real estate appraiser for a private firm. Larry had a passion and love for Central Oregon and one of his favorite past times was tinkering at his place in Crooked River Ranch. He is survived by his wife Lynda Holt, 2 children, 4 step children and 11 grandchildren. We would love to have you join us for a “Celebration of Life” for Larry. This will take place on Friday, August 11th from 2:00-4:00 at Albany Regional Museum, 136 Lyon Street S. Albany, Oregon 97321.
