I was truly blessed to have had MR Jackson as a coach and mentor in Hawaii and in Lompoc! His gentle demeanor was always welcomed. He had this special and unique ability to bring out the best in you on the ball field and for me, all the way into adulthood. Thank you for keeping a watchful eye on my mother at the commissary. Thank you for your service in the USAF, but most of all thank you for being you.

We knew Mr. Jackson as such a gentle man. I miss talking with him while his grandson, Rijo, and my daughter played on the same soccer team as kids. Just being in his presence was so uplifting. Most sincere condolences to his loving family.

My heart has been hurt after hearing of the loss of my beloved and popular Uncle Lawrence Jackson. I was born in 1951 in Gary,Indiana when he and Aunt Michelle were married. He had just joined the Air Force. Uncle Lawrence gave me and my sister (Valeda) nicknames .He called me Buzzard Cue Jones and Valeda the Bald Eagle.Whenever Uncle Lawrence would have some leave time frm the Air Force he would always check on his Nices and Nephews there in Gary,Indiana. Me,Rebe,JackyBoy,Wendell,Danis,Joel,Martell,Tito,Jermaine,Latoya,Sherry.etc He would spend time with us and give us gifts. He would encourage us and the importance of School and being educated. When we moved out west to Winslow, Arizona,Uncle Lawrence and his family moved eventually there also.when he moved to Lompoc me and many of his nieces and Nephews would visit and He would Barbecue barbecue and cook us a Good GoodGoodMeal!!!!!!. Also He was a good singer. Well there is so much more to say.I will Always Always Always!!!! Remember and Think of him. I SEND MY HEARTFELT LOVE AND COMPASSIGN TO ALL THE Family,Aunt Michelle, Mark,Peaches,Simone and Uncle Lawrence 's GrandChildren. Love Myron

Losing someone in death is not easy because of our human feelings so we pray to our heavenly Father Jehovah to give us strength to go on. Uncle Lawrence would all ways try to disguise his voice to be a car sales man looking for a Mercedes Benz nothing but laughter after and then we would talk.

Uncle Lawrence will be missed, but not forgotten! He had a since of humor that kept you laughing and was very knowledgeable about a lot of things. He is in Jehovah's memory and will always be in mine!
