He may have only been 56, but he lived a full life. He gained more knowledge than most of us can imagine. He traveled and moved all over. He never hesitated to try eating new things. Plus, he left a large family that will continue to grow. What more of a legacy could he ask for? Now, his suffering is over and he enjoying a place that he dedicated his life to studying about. That is true happiness.

What can be said when such an incredible man passes on. It took me 31 years to realize that he is my hero, and now I have to look up to him in my memories.

Larry's (Pa's) funeral service was a very humble appreciation for a man who was dedicated to study and helping others. It was attended by all of his children, two of his sisters, his ex-wife (the mother of the children/Ma), and his wife, as well as many dear friends from Texas who had become dependent on him for his knowledge, humor, and helpful attitude. Everyone has memories to deal with of the people they know most intimately, and while I remember that my pa wasn't perfect I also remember that he did a lot of growing throughout his life and that he loved me. If those closest to me feel the same at my passing I will have lived well. I love my dad.
