Lawrence Wynn Obituary
Knoxville - Lawrence H. Wynn (Larry) 65 of Knoxville departed this life Saturday, February 6, 2021. He was born to Sarah E. Wynn and L. H. Morgaine.
He was a graduate of Austin-East Class of 1973. Larry was a stand out football player in high school and continued his playing career at Livingstone college in Salisbury N.C. where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree.
Preceded in death by parents, grandparent, Essie L. and Alexander Wynn, Sr.; uncles, Eddie, Robert, Sr. William, Sr., and Alexander, Jr., Raleigh, Sr., and aunt, Essie M. Smith.
Larry is survived by son, Larrenn Wynn; grandchildren, Darren, Courtney, and Sidney; sister, Brenda Anderson; aunt, Mary Ruth Reed; niece, Shauna Anderson (Indianapolis, IN), devoted cousin, Derrick Harris and a host of other family and friends.
Family will receive friends Sunday, February 14, 2021, 12:30 - 1:00pm at Jarnigan & Son's Chapel.
Funeral Services, 1:00 p.m., Rev. David Mebane officiating.
Interment at Mt. Olive cemetery.

My deepest condolences to the Wynn family!!! I was very hurt to hear of Larry's passing. We had became friends again after 50 years. We were in 5th grade together. He was a connection to my roots since I had moved away in 1970. It been about 7 months since we had reconnected, I'm missing those talks already. Just know he will be sadly missed.
