Larry, this comes as a shock to me...I have such fond memories of our 'younger' days. Fishing/camping, jamming with your brothers, and other adventures you took me on.

Larry may you rest in peace. To his Ohana so sorry that we did not attended his funeral, Paulo and I didn't know he had passed. We were so fortunate that he was our Best Man for our Wedding 11/1975... He was a good friend to us and since we relocated to Maui we lost touch. God bless.. Aloha pumehana... Uncle Larry, I am grateful that you took the time to teach me about tours, Hawaii, and plants. I learned so much. I now share it with my daughter. Give our Aloha to Ben and the gang. You are a treasure that we will all cherish. Mahalo Nui Loa Uncle Larry! Rest in Peace.

Larry, A great high school friend, I remember all the good times we had, from picking mango and eating it in class, fishing where we should'nt have been, just running around and having fun. We got are drivers license together at the Kailua Police Station. Pals forever, Ray Lee

Larry, I was saddened to hear that you left, even after 50+ years. Yes, I also remember, as another Manoa neighbor has reminisced, fond memories of fun times on Loulu Street -- those were carefree and innocence days. I still remember when you got ahold of my baby picture with the beanie hat and showed it to everybody at Roosevelt High School. I was so embarrassed. I think my brother, Brian, may have had a part in this ruse. Right now, I know you are reuniting with Brian, reliving the fun times, and still joking around. Yes, he passed away in D.C. on September, 2009. I had 18 precious months with him before he passed.

Strange as it seems, I will miss you even after not seeing you for over 50 years. But you and your family must know that:

Our family has great comfort and consolation in the legacy of love that you left us, we can look back at your life with pride and admiration.
