Jack Fair Obituary
NORTH AUGUSTA, SC - Frank Jackson "Jack" Fair passed peacefully in his home on July 30, 2014. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 2 until 4.
Jack was born in Athens, GA, and was the son of the late Frank and Corrie Sue Fair. He retired from The Kroger Company with 34 years of service. Jack will be remembered for his wit, humor, generosity and love for his family. He was a loyal fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Braves. Jack enjoyed taking meticulous care of his lawn and spending time at his lake house with friends, family, and loyal and devoted dogs Dexter and Kona. He will be forever missed and loved by his family. Jack was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Edwards.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years Libby Fair; children, Shara Fair and Jay Fair of Crawford, GA; Michael Carvell of Roswell, GA; Kristin Hardwick of San Francisco, CA; Lisa Fair and Jack Fair of North Augusta, SC; grandchildren JR, Zack, Bryce, Blake, Bluffton and Libby.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the CSRA Humane Society, 425 Wood Street, Augusta, GA 30904 or to Molly's Militia, PO BOX 6816, North Augusta, SC 29861.
