Leah always made my heart smile and I'm so happy for the time I had to let her know how much her ever present smile and sweetness brightened each of my days at Cooper Carry. Her spirit and determination to not let anything get her down have meant the world. Leah's spirit of love and graciousness live within me still and I thank God for the blessing of spending a little time while her while she walked among us. She was a gem and an angel among mortals.

Fabulous Leah Pia! What a truly kind and fabulous women. Her smile and good morning always made for a better day. She had am amazing ability to stay calm when everyone else around her was running in circles demanding things from her. Leah would talk to me about about her love of horses and would give me advise for my daughter and her riding. We stayed in contact after I left Cooper Carry to see how we were getting along. I will truly miss her, but she is now an loving angel that I will lean on.

God bless your family and know she brought joy to so many.

Leah was such a wonderful person to be around. I worked with her the entire time I was at Cooper Carry and kept in touch with her after I left in 1994. She has been truly an inspiration to me through this difficult time and I am truly glad she walked through my life. She was an exceptional person and will be an exceptional angel.

My thoughts are with you at this time.

Ann & Bill,
You and I have never met but I worked with Leah for 13 years at Cooper Carry. We became friends. We shared a love of horses and we use to talk about her tennessee walker and my quarter horse. A number of years ago I was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma and she was only one of very few at Cooper Carry that I talked to about it. We would talk about our chemos and how each of us was holding up. We also shared our cancer. She was always upbeat, smiling, and caring about someone other than herself. She was the only person I kept in touch with after I left Cooper Carry. I was deeply saddened by the message I received about her passing. She will be missed by many. Please take pride in her life as well as the sadness of her passing.

My conversations with Leah often began with the words “Did you know …?” – She had a delightfully inquisitive nature and an amazing memory (also, a great sense of humor). We could talk for hours about a variety of topics during what seemed like just a brief chat. I am truly grateful for her friendship and our time together. Leah took a genuine interest in the well-being of others and was always there to offer support or a kind word, even when she was the one who needed it most. She could put anyone at ease with her smile. Leah’s compassion, poise, courage and overall ‘style’ were inspiring to me and all who knew her. As she drew strength from the love of family and friends, it is my hope that we can do the same for each other to cope with losing her. I offer my deepest sympathies to the Davis family and to everyone whose lives have been touched by this special lady. God bless.

Cooper Carry employees all over the country were affected by the courage Leah displayed in the face of adversity. I am confident it was her faith in her eternal savior that enabled her to look beyond her circumstances, and find purpose and conviction.

I am sure she is standing in His presence today hearing the words "well done my good and faithful servant".

My sweet Leah Peah as call her...she is such a breath of fresh air, she lived her entire life with such dignity and grace and became such and inspiration to so many of us during these past few years. Leah drove me to hospital to have my daughter and she was the first one to visit once Madalynne arrived. She always had a smile even when we had to work late into the night and you could always count on her to find a positive outlook on any situation. Leah bestowed her love of horses onto Madalynne and a painting Leah gave to her is hung with pride, love and adoration. Although I am greatly saddened that we all are suffering by the physical loss of our Dear Leah, we are all now graced with her eternal blessings. Keep the stars bright our sweet Leah and the sky the most beautiful shade of blue…we need you now more than ever.

Love and prayers to all who loved her...
