Friedman family,
Deepest condolences for your loss. Lee was an incredible mentor and one of the most respectable scientists we´ve ever had the pleasure to meet. He devoted so much time to helping his students grow, both as scientists and as people. We loved spending time with him, and he filled our lives with so much joy.
I´m sharing some photos from our adventures at Texas State. The first two photos were taken in April 2019, the last photo in May 2025. Wishing the family peace and comfort moving forward.

To the Friedman family:
Sending you so much love and warmth at this difficult time. I remember Lee fondly - especially the magical summer trip I took with Michelle in junior high school. He shared his love of hiking and fly fishing with me and gave me good memories for years to come. So generous and kind.
Love, Vicki
