Lee GERMAIN Obituary
Our hearts are broken, we have lost a great friend, wonderful father, son, brother, cousin, and life partner. Tragically on Saturday, December 10, 2016, Lee's life was cut short. We will always struggle with WHY? Lee was a wonderful dad; he could do "no wrong" in Chloe's eyes - he was her shinning knight! And he loved her UNCONDITIONALLY! He was a decent guy with a huge heart, who treated people the way he wanted to be treated. He was the cherished father of Chloe Kehoe, his beautiful princess who he adored! Sadly missed by his fiancée and life partner Maddison Kuhn, and co-parent Caitlin Kehoe. He is also survived by and will be greatly missed by his Pepere (Philippe Ricard) - he cherished their relationship and loved Pepere very much; his father Marcel Ricard (Lina), mother Shelley and grandpa Sonny Germain; his brothers Brett Ricard (April) and Brandon Ricard; and his aunts Sylvie Stewart (Darryl) and Louise Ricard (Guy Gagnon), who for much of his life were his Rocks! Also cousins Tyler and Tiffany, Stephanie and Frederic, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and in-laws (Flanagan and Kuhn). He will be laid to rest next to his cherished Memere Aldoraise Ricard, who passed in 2011, at Ste-Anne Roman Catholic Cemetery. There will be two services for Lee. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 19 at 11 a.m. in his hometown of Calumet Island, Quebec at the Ste-Anne Catholic Church. A celebration of Lee's Life will be held on Wednesday, December 21 at 2 p.m. at St Basils Church, (Maitland/Rex Ave) Ottawa – all are welcome.

Happy Birthday Lee. I woke up this morning thinking of you.... Just like i have for the last week; but today is different... Today was supposed to be your day. Well it still is buddy - whether you are here or not - you will always be here in my heart and in my mind. This shouldn't have happened, but life is unfair as we know it. At least you aren't struggling anymore. I will miss you every day of my life and i know that goes for everyones lives you touched. You are now an angel looking over all of us from above. Watch over Chloe and be her guardian angel. Help Maddy get thru this difficult time along with ur parents and brother. Dear Lee, I couldn't thank you enough for easing me when I was a baby and for rasping my beautiful baby sister I just wish I could say goodbye. Lee, where do I start. We made a life together, a beautiful beautiful little girl and although we weren't together we vowed to a life time of raising her together. My heart sank when i herd the news of his passing. I will remember Lee as the kind hearted person he truly was. if you were good to him then he would be good to you. we had not talked for years but i did know how truly happy he was when his little girl was born. he truly did loved her! my heart aches for Chloe.I am still truly shocked as to what happened to lee. may he rest in peace.
