Lee Roy and the Harmeson family were great neighbors! They say you can pick your friends but you cant pick your neighbors but I could not have picked better ones. Lee Roy always had that welcoming, comforting way about him. Wonderful man! Wonderful family!

I will miss him so. He has went on to be with my parents and Irene who were great friends. Growing up, people didn't know who which kids were Harmesons and which were Grays. My prayers are with his sons and family. Sorry we could not have a proper funeral, but he is loved and will be missed.

When I met Lee Roy and Irene over 20 years ago at church I knew they were wonderful people. Went to the honor flight to watch a true hero being honered and it was such a blessing to witness. Will never forget the Tootsie rolls he would have every Sunday at church. Have celebrated the same bday which was special. He lived a long life and raised great kids. Sorry for the loss of a great man. NEVER FORGET his sacrifice to his country and his family. Have peace knowing he is with Irene and the Lord. His true home forever. God Bless everyone and stay safe and healthy. Lots of love
