Lee will be greatly missed. we worked together for years.
Lee was my neighbor and friend for over 20 years. I will miss our many hours of laughing together, shopping and road trips, phone calls, shared desserts, and countless visits. She was and is an inspiration to me. I'm sure her family is as proud of

Lee was more than our next-door neighbor. She was a wonderful friend and we were so blessed to live next door to her for the last 5 years. She was thoughtful, encouraging and supportive, and I especially loved our visits over the last few months. She spoke kindly and often about her children and grandchildren and was so proud of everyone. We already miss her immensely, and are keeping her sweet family in our thoughts and prayers during their time of loss.

To the family of Lee Headly Holt. I have such great memories of Lee. She and Lee Ann Head(?) were suite mates of mine at Bham Southern For the summer session of ‘59. I was from Gville a small high school. My parents refused to let me go to U of A until I spent a summer at B’ham-Southern. I was assigned a roomy. Which was not the best. I will NEVER forget the kindness of Lee and Lee Ann ( I think was her First name) They helped me get over my first semester InCollege, a not fun roomy, very hard classes. They guided me through that summer. I have asked around to find Lee - did not remember she was a Bham girl. We live in Bham and have since we married and my husband started And finished Med school. Makes me so sad that we were so close in miles And I never found her again ( I did ask B-S friends. Some remembered her- that’s as far as it ever got. No one knew her married name. Such a beautiful obit. You children may not even read this. I do hope so. Do t ever lose contact with a friend!!!
It’s such a lonesome feeling when I think of the fun we could have had. I did love Lee. She was the best thing that happened to me the Summer of 1959...I will always remember her and always be thankful that she came my way!!! She was an Angel sent by God. I truly believe that. And she was just down the road.
God bless you the family Of my summer angel !!!!

I loved Lee. She was such a beautiful woman both inside and out. She always made us laugh on her volunteer days at St. Vincent's. She was so proud of her children. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
