Although I had never met Mrs. Moreno, I had the pleasure of talking with her on the phone a number of times. Knowing that I was in the education field, she had shared her many varied experiences in the teaching profession and had expressed how much she has seen change over the years. Mrs. Moreno struck me as being a fascinating woman who possessed a wealth of knowledge, exuded love for the teaching profession and who had positively impacted the lives of so many children. We are blessed to have had such an individual grace our world. May she find continued enjoyment by teaching in her new world.
Thank you, Mrs. Moreno.
My thoughts and prayers go to my friend, Mary Ellen, and her family.
