To all our friends and Mom's friends,

thank you so kindly for your thoughtful messages. I only became aware of this sight after Leal's partner Harriet's son' death. Thank you again.

To the Burgwin Family

Always treasure every moment you spent with your mother. your peace will be in knowing that she is at rest in the Lord. She has a promise that she will see all of you again one day. Acts 2:38 tells us of a promise to save our household. When I gave her that scripture she smile and said I know. Be Blessed.

Lela was a client and friend for almost 20 years. I was lucky enough to get a hug and kiss from her at each and every visit before we talked any business. I will remember her as a sweet and loving person. I'm glad my children (ages 8 and 11) had the chance to meet her by chance last year downtown. She will be missed.

To all the members of Lela's family,

How sorry I am to hear of your mothers death. She was a wonderful woman, full of joy and happiness, always up and ready for whatever was going on. I miss her wonderful Christmas letter and as her idol Frank Sinatra sings "I did it my way" she did it her way.
