My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family. At least he is not suffering anymore and he will be your guardian angel. I worked with Leland at TDCJ in the ICG Department. He was a wonderful person.

Glenda, It has been a long time since Glynn and I have visited with you and Leland, and since you and I worked together in Huntsville. Wendy called today from Houston and told us she read about Leland passing away. Leland was such a good, kind person. He always showed his love and pride for you, Chad and Leann.
I have had the pleasure of visiting occasionally with your brother, our former county Judge Holt, and I always ask about you and the family. However, it has been quite a while since we last talked, and the main subject was about both our sons who are in the Army and deployed to Iraq. He made no mention of anyone being ill at that time. We are so sorry about Leland's death. We will keep you and your family in our prayers. Shirley and Glynn Jasper, Pendleton Harbor, Toledo Bend Lake, Sabine Co. Texas
