Warmbo Leland L. Warmbo age 80 of New Hope. Survived by wife, Jacqueline; son, Greg; daughters, Lorri Harmes, Debra Slacter (Alan), Susan Strayer (David), Cynthia Vargas (Ron), Robyn Warmbo (John Schjolberg), grandchildren, Jessica (Robert Boos), Rebecca, Cody, Justin, Anna, Ursula, Ingrid; great grandchildren, Corinne, Christian, Carter, Caitlyn; sisters, Rosemarie Lish, Dolly Penn; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Allen & JoAnn Hanson, Beverly Frasch, Vic Lish; daughter-in-law Renee; nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Born in Henning, MN 4/23/24, a graduate of the U of ND, Leland served in WWII & the Korean War. His creative vision & chosen field of architecture provided the gratification of designing something beautiful for others to enjoy. With his beloved wife of 54 years he hosted innumerable family gatherings. Lee treasured family, extending to an interest in his Norwegian heritage & genealogy. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle man with a love of life who enjoyed sharing his time, interests & expertise with others. Never one to complain, Lee took his diagnosis of Multiple Systems Atrophy in stride. Through Struthers Parkinson's Center he found new ways to express his love of nature, art & life. He will be deeply missed. Memorial Service will be Monday, April 4, 2005 at 6:00pm with visitation an hour prior at St. James Lutheran Church, 46th Place N. & Hampshire Ave., Crystal. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. James Lutheran Church or Struthers Parkinson's Center. Gearty-Delmore 763-553-1411
