In 2007, Chaplain Boyles visited Bethel Seminary. I was so close to going in the military as a chaplain; however, I didn’t go. Here it is years later as I was searching the internet to find Chaplain Boyles, I just wanted to let him know I’m going through the process to become military Chaplain. Then, I found this page.
He was a man who genuinely cared about those he came in contact with. I’m sending my prayers to his family. I know it’s years later, but this is the type of effect Chaplain Boyles have on people. My prayers to his family.

My memories of this remarkable man go back to my childhood days in the early 1960's and the Olson Brothers Quartet came to my little church in Idaho. He was the high tenor, and what a treat it was to hear him sing. I was blessed to hear him two more times with the Olsons. I treasure those days. Thank you, Brother Boyles for all that you did.
