Thelma Quesenberry Durman

Thelma Quesenberry Durman, 84, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011. She was a member of Carter Street United Methodist Church and a retired seamstress. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Jackson Durman. Survivors include five sisters, Delia Stevenson, of Cana, Sarah Smith, of Christiansburg, Polly Lawson, of Pilot Mountain, N.C., Dolly Lawson, of Mt. Airy, N.C., and Elva Danley, of Arrit, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2011, at 2 p.m. at the Carter St. United Methodist Church with the Rev. Terry Lawson and the Rev. Elizabeth King officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Carter St. UMC.
