Farewell, my friend, Lenny. Elementary schoolmates and lifelong friends - it was indeed both shocking and saddening to hear of your recent passing. Though our paths took divergent directions over twenty years ago, thank for looking after my family on 35th Avenue. You're a gentle spirit and one of the most kind-hearted people I know. Rest in peace and may we all be grateful that you were a part of our lives.

Last Sunday, we lost our dear friend
Lenny Lew.
Lenny is now at rest, as is our brother Anthony LaCavera, who passed away on May 26, 2005.
As good family friends would do, Lenny reached out to our family to offer his sympathy at the time of our brothers death. Lenny wrote a letter to convey his heartfelt sorrow and to mourn the death of his friend.
The letter Lenny wrote, to say good-bye to Anthony was read by his niece Angela at our brother's funeral.
We will miss Lenny and his kind and caring ways, and just as with Anthony, his spirit will be with us for the remainder of our lives.
Lenny has enriched our lives with his generosity and compassion for his family. He will always be remembered for bringing into our lives the traditions of culture and instilling in us the value of those traditions.
We pray for those that we love and that have gone on to their next life, that they watch over us and protect us.
And we pray for the survivors, to ask that they be given the strength and fortitude to continue on.
That the grief we feel be eased and comforted by the unconditional love that shines upon us from our friend Lenny, and our brother Anthony.
And still, our lives will never be the same.
