LOEBENBERG, Leo. On Thursday, January 13, 2005. Beloved husband of Phyllis for fifty-four years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Beatrice and Avraham Zolty, Chizkiyahu (Ronnie) and Batya Loebenberg of Israel and Eric and Bosmat Loebenberg. Cherished Saba of Elli and Yoni Shimshi, Yoni Agmon, Sivan and Maya Zolty, Yaacov, Natan, Moshe, Shifra and Elisheva Loebenberg, Laura and Lia Loebenberg. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Dora and the late Arthur Stern, Annie and the late David Baranker. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon W. on Sunday January 16 at 11:30 a.m. Burial at the Congregation Beth Ora Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, Sources Rd. D.D.O. Shiva private. Donations may be made in his memory to Canadian Magen David Adom for Israel, 731-4400.

I was so sorry to hear that Leo had died. I have fond memories of him as a long-time neighbour and enduring friend of our family. He always showed great interest in me and what was going on in my life, actively listening as I answered his many questions. My deepest condolences to all of you on your loss.
