Mom passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the age of 82 years after a brief illness. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Evans (Sandy Stiff), and Marcia (Brent) Humenny; grandsons, Tim (Erin) Evans and Rowan Humenny; her great-grandchildren; brother, Mike (Jenny); sister, Eugene and several nieces and nephews. Leogardia was predeceased by her sisters, Sr. Anselma, Faustina, Eleutheria, Elizabeth, Emelia and Pat; her brothers, Anslem, John, Thomas, Frank, Fred and Jacob; granddaughters, Melanie and Stefanie; and by her great-grandson, Blake. Mom worked her whole career as a CNA at all three Saskatoon hospitals with the majority of the time at RUH. Mom was a dedicated mother and an awesome grandma, ever generous and loving. She couldn't cook but made up for it with baking those fantastic cinnamon buns. She sewed like a seamstress, and knit beautifully. Liturgy of The Word will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012 at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Pius Schroh.
