Leon Parker Obituary
Born in Graham, Missouri, on February 13, 1950, Leon left home at 18 to serve his country in the United States Navy. A proud Vietnam Veteran, he carried the strength and discipline of his service throughout his life.
After his military career, Leon worked at National Steel before finding joy and independence as a Handyman. Known for his humor, warmth, and willingness to help anyone in need, Leon touched the lives of many with his caring spirit.
He is survived by his brother, Lester; his children, David and Lisa; and his three cherished grandchildren, Thomas, Thea, and Jade.
A memorial service will be held at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery on Wednesday September 24, 2025, at 2:30 p.m.
Leon will be remembered for his generosity, laughter, and lifelong love of Classic Cars.

So many wonderful childhood memories of Uncle Leon (my favorite was the melted cottage cheese don´t ask! and falling through the hole on the cellar hill at grandma Parker´s when I was 3 or 4, I´m pretty sure he was down those cellar steps and caught me before I even landed on the hard floor) I think it´s safe to say that as a young child I definitely kept my favorite uncle on his toes!!! ~ Sending lots and lots of love, hugs and prayers to my cousins and their families

Many Memories Flooding from my childhood... Fishing, playing tag, hearing stories, and Fireworks! Uncle Leon had a Smile and Laugh that Lit his Face! But His Bear Hugs were The BEST! Thoughts and Prayers for Lisa/David and their families. Keep the memories close.
