Leonard Green Sr.

Leonard "Lenny" Green Sr. of Kent, WA passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022, at the age of 72. After several months of declining health, he died peacefully as his final days were spent surrounded by the family and friends he loved so much.

He was born in Fresno, CA on July 17, 1950, to his father Harold Green and mother Jesse Self. His father unfortunately passed away early in his life, but he was blessed with a loving stepfather Tom Self. The fourth of six children, he followed his older brother Larry to Washington State when he was 18 years old and started a family shortly after. His work ethic and desire to take care of his family led to him working 46 1/2 years at the glass plant Hartug Glass Industries (HGI) formerly known as Northwest Glass Co.

Lenny Sr. had a passion for the outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, camping and sports. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends playing washers, cornhole and rooting for his favorite teams.

Lenny Sr. was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Green, Tom & Jesse Self, his sister Florence and brothers Bobby & Larry Green. Parent in-laws Richard & Darlene Brunette; brothers-in-law John Dunn, George, and Doug Brunette.

He is survived by his wife Rhonda Green; his children Lenny Jr. & Heather Green (Brandon, Casarah & Damon), Kristine & Roger Miron (Alyssa & Raya), K.C. & Shane Green, Corrina & Adam Becker (Marquis, Corey, Tamara, Nash & Wyatt), Jamee & David Massey (Cody), Savanna & Keegan Crook (Ruger); daughter pups Lulu and Lucy. 7 great grandchildren; brother Bruce Green; sister Linda Dunn; brother from another mother Roger Young; sibling in-laws Renee & Zack McCloud, David & Patti Brunette, Rose & Roy Freeman; and many nieces and nephews.

Lenny Sr. wishes to spend eternity among the outdoors, so his ashes will be spread at Blewett Pass at a later date.
