I remember you and Leonard from when I was a little girl, probably a time or two when I was visiting my Aunt Peg and Uncle Johnny. I recall what a good-looking couple you were.

My mom is Mary, Peg Lachendro's sister.

Please accept my sympathy on the passing of your Len.

What a wonderful send-off! He's the kind of guy I wish I had known. May the wonderful memories of Leonard sustain you all in the days ahead. And have a great time in San Francisco. I shall think of him every time I see the Golden Gate!

Millie Sochatoff Myers here, Audrey, to say that I remember Len and you with so much pleasure. Both of you, and the girls, were so gracious to Belle and me when we visited. The obituary captures him so well--I heard his voice as I read it.

What a great obit! I really wished I'd been able to meet Leonard, he sounded like a real guy. I'm sure you have many memories that will help you through this hard time.

I/we will miss Uncle Len. He was after all, a role model to me, much to mom's chagrin! He was an incredible guy.

I am speechless. Kudos to the best obit I have ever read. If this is any indication of the man that Leonard was, I'm sorry I didn't know him.

I am sorry for the family loss. I'm hoping you have many happy memories to get you through the lonely periods.

I don't know who this gentleman was, but this is a classic. I hoped he lived as his obituary read, with a sense of humor.

This is the best obituary I have ever read. I did not know Leonard, but spent many hours at the library in Lodi, so I thank him for that opportunity. My prayers are with the family.
