Leonard (Len) Liotti, 77 of Apollo Beach, FL, passed away on November 23, 2010. Len was retired from Midwest Mole, an Indianapolis trenchless technology and tunneling company he founded in 1982; now owned and managed by his son, Daniel Liotti. Len was born in Buffalo, New York and spent his youth in the Northeast prior to coming to the Midwest. Len graduated from Purdue University's School of Civil Engineering and was a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Indiana. Before founding Midwest Mole, Len was a sales engineer and construction manager with Armco Steel and then a regional manager for Affholder Boring and Tunneling. Len and his wife, Dianna (Hoeping) Liotti are active members of St. Anne Catholic Church in Ruskin, FL. Len is survived by his loving wife Dianna (Hoeping) Liotti; son, Dan and daughters Jennifer and Diane (Holmes) Liotti and grandchildren, Brian and Mike Liotti and Ashley, Hunter and Hayden Holmes. Len was preceded in death by his first wife Jane (Moser) Liotti. Visitation and celebration of his life will be at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary (71st and Keystone) on Sunday, November 28, 2010 from 4-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, November 29th in St. Pius X Catholic Church. Memorial tribute at www.feeneyhornakkeystone.com
