I first met Len when I was 3 years old. My mom and dad Albert and Birdeen Schultz would visit back and forth with Len and his wife. I will never forget the time that we went for a visit and my dad and I went out to the garage where Len had just bought a brand new table saw and was proudly showing it to us. As I was getting closer and closer to it I can still remember him saying..... it's pretty sharp and it could cut my fingers off just like that! It scared me. To this day every time I see a tablesaw I remember his warning. I can report that all these years later I still have all my fingers!! I reconnected with Len a few years back and enjoyed his company almost everyday during our coffee time at Tim Hortons early in the morning. We will miss him. Cliff Schultz

Leonard was an amazing man who danced to a different drummer yet seemed to be in tune with all - I loved his laugh and his caring personality. We spend many happy hours with Leonard in Spruce Grove and in EM-TY town. Although we are unable to make his celebration of life please know that he is in our thoughts and we will remember him always - I think maybe in his buffalo coat riding in the parade would be a the vision I see of him.
