Leonor Castaños Obituary

Leonor Castaños, wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 61 on Wednesday, December 30th, 2020.


 


Leonor was born on December 6th, 1959, in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico to Octavio and Concepcion Meza. She lived there until the family immigrated to Yuma, AZ where she would spend the majority of her life until her passing. 


 


Leonor was preceded in death by her father, Octavio I, and her sisters Marcia and Concepcion. She is survived by her husband Jose, her two children Eric and Alejandro, her mother Concepcion, and her brothers Octavio II, Enrique, Hugo, Leonel, and Jaime.


 


Due to current restrictions, all services will remain private and limited on number of persons allowed inside. However; feel free to visit near the entrance of Desert Valley Mortuary during the Wake to pickup a memorial Prayer Card made in honor of Leonor and to drop-off any flowers, donations, etc. Please be considerate of the family and others visiting by keeping time short and the chapel private. Funeral Mass will be available for viewing via St Francis of Assisi live stream.

My deepest condolence to her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her and loving her. To know her was to love her. I will remember her smile and the beauty in which she danced folkloric. God Bless.
